What a wonderful evening on the 21. A large crowd over 150 people showed up and folks really studied the exhibition. Starroot’s return to Starcity was a full success. The show will still be open at WVTF Public Radio Station until the end of February at:

I wanted to announce my ARTSHOW from January 7th to January 28. at the  WVTF RADIO Station in Starcity. The reception with free wine from Chateau Morisette  and food and a Jazz duo will be on friday January 21. from  at the Radio station.

Lucky pig's drum solo

I have been painting two large pig paintings lately. I will try to post them soon. In Europe where I come from, the pig is a symbol of good luck along with the red white dotted Amanita (Fly agaric) Mushroom and the 4 leaf clover. The red white colors of Santa ??? Where do you think they come from?
My pig paintings will be part of my upcoming Art show STARROOT IN STARCITY at the WVTF Radio station Jan 3.-28. Reception Jan 21. 5-7pm

Sorry I have not been blogging for a while. Have been sooo busy and dealing with tooth issues and performing at Oktoberfests. I decided to close my little gallery at the Station in Floyd and become part of the Floyd Artist Market on fridays instead. I realized, that I am just not a person who wants to be in a store. I will do more art shows, starting with a Solo Show at the WVTF Radio Station Art Gallery in Starcity January 8th to January 28th 2011. I am in the middle of finishing new paintings, I will post them when I have photos done.
